Background Information:

Drayton Major was fighting in competitions on the streets of Coruscant at the age of fourteen when a merchant contact of Jedi Master Ken Palpatine noticed that the youngster showed signs of having unusual abilities.  This man contacted Palpatine and told him of the boy. After Ken heard the story of the young man he decided to take a look for himself. He followed the directions of his merchant friend and arrived in the lower levels just in time to witness Drayton in the middle of the fights he competed in. After the fight Palpatine approached the boy and asked why he was forced to take part in such brutish competitions. Drayton explained that street urchins had to do whatever they could to put food in their stomachs. When asked why he lived on the street Drayton told Ken that he has no real memory of his mother due to the fact that she passed when he was just three and his father was a smuggler who was murdered after a deal had gone bad when he was twelve.  For two years he had been staying at an orphanage when he had realized he was better off on his own.  Drayton told Palpatine that fighting in the street competitions was a great way to make money. Ken could sense that the boy held a great anger within him, and that he could be dangerous if let to continue down the path he had already started. He told Drayton that he was a senior member of the Jedi Council and could easily arrange for him to be approved for Jedi training.  He also explained to him that the training would allow him to find other means of dealing with his anger rather than fighting, and would put his natural skills to use. Drayton agreed with this and soon after left the streets and joined the Jedi Temple. 

Over the past four years Drayton has been a good student, his knowledge of the force has been remarkable and has become quite the swordsman with training-saber (which he vows to perfect the art of combat with a saber).  Occasionally his anger tends to come out but his teachers lecture him enough to keep his temper intact.

After the disappearance of Renneth Sal, Ken Palpatine decided to take on Drayton as his new apprentice. Since being appointed to apprenticeship Drayton has finally been allowed to build his own lightsaber. Ken Palpatine vows not to let his new apprentice slip as close to the darkside as his last, and to keep a close eye on his young learner.

 Much like his father Drayton loves the women as much as they love him and if he's not practicing his saber techniques he could be found searching for that special someone.  Drayton shows the ability to be a leader someday if he sticks to the path of righteousness and never loses focus. 

Appearance:

Drayton is eighteen years old; he has a dark skin complexion and a low haircut. He is about average height at five foot ten and weighs about one hundred and seventy pounds. He wears traditional Jedi robes with a brown leather utility belt.
