Background Information:
Not much is known about Maverick,
except for at one point he lived a happy and quiet life on Dantooine as a young boy.All that changed one day when Duros raiders
invaded his home and killed his father and older brother because they refused to sell their land. The raiders then raped and
killed his mother and two sisters before taking Maverick into slavery when he was a mere 7 years old. For the next 11 years,
the renegade Duros mentally and physically abused Maverick, constantly starving him and mercilessly beating him, even if he
carried out his orders as he was instructed. There were even times when they used him for target practice of sorts, nearily
beating him to death with battle staffs and stun batons. This would continue until one day, all the years of repressed fear,
anger, hatred, and rage boiled over inside Maverick and his force abilities manifested itself in a sudden burst of force lightning,
frying several of the raiders to a crisp. Maverick had no idea what he was doing; all he was aware of was that with a wave
of his hand he had completely slaughtered the Duros.
After that, what happened to
Maverick is a mystery. He was first discovered by Master Kenth Hamner on the planet Tattooine when he heard of a youth who
was undefeated in bar fights in the Mos Eisley Cantina. He was a great physical specimen but also displayed "traits" not often
seen in humans. The Jedi Master decided to check out this young man where he saw him playing a game of Pazaak. When they first
began to speak to each other, Kenth sensed that the dark side of the force had slightly began to consume the young man because
of his horrid past but the Jedi could not pierce this part of Maverick's mind due to him burying these memories deep
within his mind. As the two continued to converse, Maverick revealed his fascination of the Jedi and had at point hoped to
join the order. Master Hamner thought it over for a while and decided to bring Maverick back to Coruscant with him to train.
Subtle and quiet, yet charismatic,
Maverick likes to keep to himself and is pretty much a low-key individual. He likes to crack a joke every once and awhile
and finds joy in making others laugh. He doesn't like talking about his past too much but at times finds it soothing to express
his inner pain. He can also at times, be very shy around women but has his moments when it comes to expressing his feelings.
Appearance:
Maverick is pretty
tall and muscular for his age, standing at an even 6 feet tall and weighing in around 200 lbs. He has a fair amount of facial
hair, but is usually mistaken for being in his mid 20s because of it. He has short black hair; usually close cut even and
brown eyes. He wears a variant of Jedi robes, which are leather and cloth in a black and blue color.
