Background Information:

Menen Tah has been described as being a far better negotiator than lightsabre
dueler, but despite this his teachings in the ways of the Force are extensive
and he has proven himself to be a promising student.

An Iridonian Zabrak from the forested world of Iridonia, Menen Tah was born to parents who were politicians. Rigidly educated in the ways of his culture and politics, Menen sought to become one of the cultural elite of the Zabrak
peoples, but instead found himself at a late age under the tutelage of Jedi
Master Kenth Hamner.  Always aware that he was different to his peers Menen yearned to travel and explore the galaxy, before becoming, like his parents, a politician.  When journey was attempted at the age of twenty, however, he was captured by the renegade Jedi, Barak, and imprisoned aboard the ship, the Shah. 

For months he was trained under the Weequay Jedi who secretly hoped that Menen would be a devoted and loyal follower, but then Barak himself was given the task of capturing and killing several Jedi apprentices and masters by his employer, Wraith Net.  When the Jedi ship was interdicted above Ord Biniir and the Jedi captured, Menen escaped his cell and set about freeing himself.  Using his recently acquired talent of Force Telekinesis, he gained access to the command bridge and killed Barak himself.  Once the Jedi had escaped, he himself left the Shah on a shuttle bound for the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

Once on Coruscant, he followed a Gand Jedi inside the temple, where he was
detained and imprisoned for a brief period of time.  Taken under the wing of
Kenth Hamner, Menen requested to be accepted into the Jedi Order and represent his peoples as a guardian of peace and justice within the galaxy.  His training somewhat complete, Menen dislikes saber combat, preferring his blaster, and seeks to find a peaceful solution to conflicts rather than a violent one. He is silent, calm, and considered to be wise for his age.


Appearance:


Menen is an Iridonian Zabrak from Iridonia.  His skin is a dark brown, his eyes are white, and he has nine small horns that jut out from his skull.  He wears his long hair braided, and his face is tattooed with tribal blood markings. Often he will be found wearing his dark Jedi cloak, with his lightsaber hanging loosely from his black belt.  His skills include Force Telekinesis, Force Illumination, Force Meld, and Force Tempo
