Mika Darkstar, is the last living member of the Darkstar family. Since the formation of the Old Republic, the Darkstar family has governed the Cles System. Located in the outer Rim, just past Aduba-3, the Cles system has been a place of dark dealings and dark traditions. The capitol is located on Cles IV, and the Darkstar Empire consists of the entire Cles system and several space stations and mining operations located in nearby systems.

During the formation of the Galactic Empire, The Darkstar Empire quickly joined up with the sepratests and later united with the Galactic Empire. The Darkstar family was responsible for hunting down and killing several Jedi Knights during the Great Jedi Purge. The Family was rewarded for their aid and became prominate Impiral leaders.

By the time the Empire was overthrown, Jorden Darkstar had inheriated his
father's empire. He immeditatle recalled all his forces, and denied any
involvement in the Empire. King Jorden Darkstar purchased many Imperial stardestroyers, tiefighters, and other Imperial capitiol ships, as well as funding the creation of the Darkstar private fleet. Among these new ships were several newly designed droid fighters. Once the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the Galaxy, The Darkstar Empire secretly allied itself with the Yuuzhan Vong, and once again returned to hunting down Jedi in the second, and less effective, Jedi purge.

When the Yuuzhan Vong were defeated, the Darkstar Family returned to normal and Mika Darkstar was born. Mika was found to be force sensitve, but his father Jorden Darkstar, would not allow his son to join the Jedi. From an early age, Mika was trained in the ways of his family. To be a diplomat, and scoundrel. When he was nearing his tenth year, Mika went with his uncle to Coruscant. While there, his family back in the Cles system and elsewhere in the galaxy were murdered, by his uncle's assasins. With only Mika in his uncle's way to becoming the ruler of the Darkstar empire. After his uncle attacked the young Mika, Mika's force powers kicked in and a desk flew through the air knocking his uncle through the window. Falling to the surface, hundreds of meters below.

Mika, who never fully agreed with his family's ways returned to Cles IV and
contacted Luke Skywalker. When Luke arrived, Mika appologized for his family's past mistakes and showed Luke his family's throphy room, containing the lightsabers of every Jedi they had killed. Explaining to Luke that he had been training himself in lightsaber combat and that he wished to join the Jedi. Luke agreed. Mika turned the Darkstar Empire into a republic system. Donating much of his family's wealth to build governments, and faith in the new system. Although Mika did not renounce his posistion in the Darkstar Empire, he did replace the royal family's control with a concil made up by representitives, and turned his title of Prince, into more of a symbolic postition.

Taking only his personal E-wing fighter, that had been customized to himself,
and his R7 unit that had been his compaion for many years, with him to the Jedi Academy. Mika begain his training for little under four years, and is now fourteen years of age and a Jedi student on the verge gaining the extreme honor of become an apprentice under one of the legendary Jedi Council members.

Mika has dreams from his families past and their spirits scoulding him almost
every night since they were all killed. The dream spirits call Mika a traitor
and an abomination for joining their hated emeny Luke Skywalker and the Jedi. Mika often fears that he is not strong enough to remain true to the Jedi, and will eventually fall to the darkside like so many of his ancestors. So Mika trains almost nonstop, developing himself into a firm disipile of the light.

He is also a great pilot, excelling when in his E-Wing.

Appearance: Mika has dark black hair, cut short and well groomed. He has piercing blue eyes and is athleticly built. He stands about five and a half feet tall and has the charisatic physical features that the Darkstar family is ledgendary for.
