Background Information

Rika comes from a planet once torn apart by civil war.  During the Vong war Rika was only 4 years old, so his memories of the time are very few, but his planet was not directly affected by the Yuuzhan Vong, due to it being on the outer rim and on the other side of the galaxy.  Throughout his childhood and early teenage years, Rika came down with an unknown virus (not to do with the Vong) that nearly took his life.  But it is now thought that due to his connection to the force, even though he was untrained, it kept him alive.  His Parents names are Jira and Sianna.  Both his parents knew him to be different in some way to the rest of them, so they traveled to Coruscant and presented him to the Jedi.  He soon entered the temple at age 11 and then was taken on as apprentice to Master Octa Ramis at age 13.  Personality wise, Rika is very gentle, but when he is fighting for a cause he believes in, there's nothing to stop him
